We braved the blizzards and icy road this weekend to make it home to bake and decorate Christmas cookies at grandma's house!

Yummy thumbprints and yummier sugar cookies! |
|
Grandma painstakingly decorated these two beauties! That is raw talent (and lots of patience!) |

My contribution...candy cane kisses. You can find the recipe on the back of the Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses bag. Pretty and delicious!! |
|
So pretty...almost too nice to eat- but we'll get over it :) |

Storing my batch in my Snowflake divided casserole! Yay for finding a resourceful use for those darn divided dishes! |

And here's a glimpse of the tree at our apartment. |

And some of my favorite owl ornaments:
Trying to enjoy every moment of this holiday season, because truly in the blink of an eye it's over!
Now please excuse me while I go enjoy some cookies and milk !

OMG. Me want cookies! I made snickerdoodles over the weekend. Yummy! Love your owl ornaments. I'm giving my BF's mom an owl ornament for Christmas. She loves owls too :)
I know what you mean...I love the divided casserole dishes but what in the world are you supposed to use them for??? I love your idea of putting cookies in them! :)

Oh. my. god. I NEED cookies now!! Those look delicious! I'm getting together with my BFF on Friday for our annual cookie and fudge bake off and now I'm feeling very inspired! I wish I could do piping work like Grandma. I'm so bad at it I just have to stick with straight icing.
*Dying for Cookies*
@Flo- Grandma actually did the "piping" with sprinkles and tweezers!! I didn't have nearly enough patience for that :)
Yummy Christmas Cookies! I'm making peppermint bark today to put in my pyrex. I like the owls.
haha.. no way! That's even more impressive!
