Today I came home to this:
You may remember I introduced you to my sweet, thrifted Raggedy Ann doll not so long ago. In the same post, there was also a story about a very naughty
We still have no idea how
R.I.P Raggedy Ann. You will be missed.
Have any of your pets destroyed your prized thrifted finds? Sometimes I wonder if dogs are worth the trouble. Grr.

Oh SHIZZ
I could tell by the tiny thumbnail that it was a massacred raggegy ann.
I have a 8 Year old Boxer.. He has never once wrecked a thing. But the Border collie / Lab I had as a child CHEWED huge holes in our family couch while we were out one day. Boy my parents were seriously mad. That poor dog was a devious little devil. He would destroy anything he could get his paws on. hahah
Luckily they are worth the trouble.. and I am sure you will find another Ann, Just put her higher next time. ;)
Your fluffball is adorable, even if he does rip the eyes out of innocent stuffed victims.
Ouch. The damage to the eyes and the red hair strewn about is such a sad scene!
Bad to his BONES!!!!
Aggh! Chewed out eyes! Scary! Our boxer has cheded up 3 pairs of my shoes, one of my bras, about 5 headbands, and the biggest no-no, the remote control to our Wii game! We try to dog proof, but you never know what it is she will decide to want to chew on. And of course she wouldnt want to chew on her dozen chew toys!
who, that innocent-looking lil' pup? seems impossible! ;) poor raggedy ann, as if "raggedy" wasn't bad enough.
Little stinker with the "who me?" look.
Poor Raggedy Ann.
aww poor dolly! man puppy really didn't like the eyes, eh?
LOVE the title of this post btw, so clever sounding

haha! so cute!!!! i love your dog...
yes, our dog WAS once a wrecker..!!! but she's now 3 years old... she's had enough of those. :)
poor poor raggedy ann. r.i.p
♥
We have three dogs, two of them have been chewers. One outgrew it, but we've still got one destroyer of all things: shoes, purses, pens, tools....if she can drag it off, she will. The worst damage has been a vintage chair whose arm was destroyed, and my daughter's stuffed lamb that she has had since she was born. The lamb incident has never been forgiven!
I'm sorry the dog destroyed your treasure! As a kid I was terrified of Raggedy Anne, the eye-less doll would have scared the hell out of me! Scarier than the clown from Poltergeist :)
If his paws can fit in the squares of the fence he might be climbing over it. I've seen videos of dogs climbing very high fences. If he's bright he could be getting bored, too, and that's why he chews. When I've done a google search, I've some ideas I've never heard about to entertain dogs. Your dog is such a cutie!
Thank you all for your condolences to Raggedy Ann! We have since wised up and are stacking two gates on top of eachother in the hallway to prevent future doggy escapes and subsequent massacres :)
Send her to me i can fix her!
